About this policy
This policy covers Hibi Ledger (每日记账 / 日々家計簿), updated October 18, 2026. No app account is required. The app contains no ads, ad tracking or third-party analytics SDKs. The developer operates no ledger server and does not automatically receive your ledger.
On-device storage and optional sync
Amounts, currencies, dates, categories, payment labels, notes and revision history are stored on your device. When you connect a folder, records are written there. If you choose iCloud Drive, Apple transfers and stores the files under your Apple account and device settings. Anyone with access to that folder may be able to read them. The app adds no application-level end-to-end encryption.
File access and diagnostics
The app uses the system picker to access files or folders you select and stores folder authorization locally. A random device identifier resolves offline edit ordering; it is not used for advertising. Redacted diagnostics are shown or copied only at your request, never automatically uploaded. They include version, platform, state and file counts, not amounts or notes.
Snapshots, exports and deletion
Up to 20 valid local snapshots are retained on rotation. JSON backups and sync files retain revision history: deleting a transaction does not erase every historical copy. Disconnecting sync deletes no files. To remove all data, stop sync on every device, then remove local app data, the shared folder, exports and relevant system trash or backups separately. Uninstalling does not remove iCloud Drive files or exports.
When you contact support
Email support receives your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send, solely to handle your request. Do not send full ledgers, passwords, verification codes or Apple account credentials. Redact private details in screenshots. Email providers process support messages. Content no longer needed after resolution is deleted; you may request deletion of correspondence, subject to legal retention requirements.
Apple services and this website
Apple handles TestFlight, App Store, iCloud and system diagnostics under its policies. This help website uses no analytics scripts, advertising or forms. The hosting provider may process IP addresses and technical request logs to serve the site. The app does not ask for location, contacts, camera or health data.
